Sobriety checkpoint brief planned in Stutsman County on Sept. 25

JAMESTOWN — On Friday, Sept. 25, the North Dakota State Patrol, Jamestown Police Department and Stutsman County Sheriff s Office will conduct a sobriety checkpoint at a predetermined location in Stutsman County. Saturation patrols will be conducted Friday evening in the region. As of Sept. 13, there have been 74 fatalities on North Dakota roadways this year. Twenty-one of the fatalities (28.4%) were related to crashes involving alcohol. Homecoming Week and the Stockcar Stampede are great opportunities for our community to come together and enjoy time with friends and family," Sgt. Nate King, North Dakota Highway Patrol.
