Southeast Region Enforcement Planned in Stutsman County

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) On Friday, September 25, the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Jamestown Police Department, and Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a sobriety checkpoint at a predetermined location in Stutsman County. Saturation patrols will be conducted Friday evening in the region. As of September 13, 2026, there have been 74 fatalities on North Dakota roadways this year. Twenty-one of the fatalities (28.4%) were related to crashes involving alcohol. Sgt. Nate King, ND Highway Patrol Southeast Regional Sergeant stated, “Homecoming Week and the Stockcar Stampede are great opportunities for our community to come together and enjoy time with friends and family.
