Cass County Releases Name of Man Killed in Workplace Incident

CASS COUNTY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is releasing the name of the individual who passed away following a workplace incident that occurred on September 4th  at the North Dakota Soybean Processors facility, west of Casselton, ND.  The deceased is identified as 44-year-old John Oltvedt of Moorhead, MN. The cause and circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office is also working with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and efforts are ongoing to determine the circumstances that led to the incident. The John Oltvedt family extends their sincere appreciation for the thoughts and prayers offered during this extremely difficult time for their family.
